- The 2090 and 2090A (autobooting variety) both do MFM as well as SCSI drives.
- They will work fine on a 500 or 1000 providing you have some sort of bus
- adaptor like a Slingshot or the DIY one on Aminet in hard/hack.

- Keep in mind that unlike SCSI or IDE, when you change brands of controllers
- on MFM, you'll have to reformat the drive, as with MFM the encoding scheme
- is done on the controller, not the drive itself.

- RLL drives will work on an MFM controller, but you'll lose 1/3 of your disk
- space...and you'll DEFINITELY have to re-low-level format.
